A heating system is not the box. It is the box plus everything bolted to it, and the parts nobody looks at are the parts that decide whether it lasts twenty years or seven.
What we handle
Three trades that keep running into each other in the same houses. A boiler swap turns into hot water work; a cooling retrofit in an old house turns into carpentry and pipe. Keeping all three in house is why the second visit is usually us as well.
Boilers, radiant, conversions
Viessmann and Buderus boilers, radiant systems, cast iron and European panel radiators, baseboard, and the indirect tank that gives the house its hot water. Oil and gas conversions when the old plant has had its day.
Heating work
High-velocity, ductless, heat pumps
Old houses in this county were not built with duct chases. High-velocity mini-duct threads the framing you already have, and we carry the Unico installer certification for it. Where even that will not go, ductless mini splits will.
Cooling work
Hot water, treatment, repairs
Water heaters and Rinnai tankless, whole-house filters, softeners and water testing, sump pumps and leaks. ProPress and PEX for domestic water. We are a certified Rinnai dealer, which is why the tankless work comes back to us.
Plumbing workWhen the heat goes out
Not to talk you out of a service call. Half the time one of these is the whole problem, and if it is not, you will be able to tell us something useful when you ring.
Most heating appliances have a service switch on or beside them, and it is wired like a light switch on purpose. It gets turned off by someone carrying boxes down the stairs more often than anyone admits.
There is a gauge on the front. A cold system sitting well under its normal mark has usually lost water somewhere, and that is worth telling us before we arrive rather than after.
A blocked filter makes a forced air system overheat and shut itself down, then start again twenty minutes later. It reads exactly like an intermittent fault and it is not one.

High-velocity cooling is a different trade to hanging a condenser. The certification is the manufacturer saying we are cleared to put it in an occupied house and have it work.
